He identified himself as Verizon stating someone named "Murry" had tried to order $8200 worth of devices on my Verizon account and wanted to know my login to help me "reset" and protect myself. I hung up & blocked but DEFINITELY sketchy.

SCAM ALERT

Same. Robo voice Said my Verizon Wireless acct was suspended needed to be verified. Put on hold then it hung up. SCAM!!!!

They said they were Verizon and asked to speak to my wife, but it my to my cell number not hers. They said that they needed to verify authorization for an online purchase placed from Los Angeles, CA. They prompted a text message to my cell with a one time pass-code that he wanted me to give to them. I told them I would not give any info over the phone and I will call Verizon myself to verify. Since we get a text to only my phone every time we log into Verizon, that let me know no one could have bought something.

The number came up as unavailable he said he was from Verizon that they were working on a new tower and my service would be interrupted but I would get a $50 credit on my account for the inconvenience and that he was sending me a text and I was supposed to read back the passcode on the text. I asked him a couple times if he was calling every single Verizon Customer personally about this and he says yes we have a large team. I told him I was not comfortable with the call and it was probably a scam he asked me why, I told him and hung up on him

Called to tell me that I would receive $20 per hour because Verizon was having issues. I told them to stop calling my number and then they said it was terrorism not them calling. Super scary. They wanted to know how long I've been with Verizon and my email address . Ugh.
