Verizon Scam (Scam call) reported by


Call claiming to be from Verizon. I knew it was a scam but pressed 1 anyways. The man thanked me for calling (they called me) and asked how I was doing. He couldn't hear me and proceeded to say hello 5 or 6 times. Then asked if I was f**king deaf and hung up. Yeah, not Verizon.

Called me and left robocall left voicemail when I didn't answer the first 3 times in less than 10 minutes. I answered the 4th time and the robovoice said that my Verizon account is suspended awaiting verification and to press 1 for the automated service center. It went to something claiming to be Verizon and put me in a queue. I then hung up to search for info on the phone number which led me here...
