Robocall says "your Verizon account suspended" or "we have detected possible suspicious activity on your account". Verizon says this is not their policy they will send you a text if anything occurs. "Do not fall victim to this scam, they are looking for information that can be used to commit fraud!"

Suspicious activity on your account (Unsolicited call) reported by


The call claims to be from Verizon and states that there is suspicious activity on my account. I can press 2 to speak with a representative. Then I'm robo-asked for zip code and pin for "verification". I gave them random garbage. Cheap music on hold then a representative answers. I asked what my account number was (I assumed they should know based on my phone number) and they answered "how should I know?" Never give legit information to any caller calling you! Always initiate sensitive calls to businesses at published numbers.
