I appreciate these reviews. I suspect phishing, but based on these reviews, I returned the call. They did not ask for any personal information (except for case number and phone number...which they already had.) Did not try to sell me anything, just verified several recent transactions (all of which were legit).

I first received a text to give them a call. Checked my account and noticed some charges I didn’t do. Of course I googled the number before I called. They are legit. They let me know immediately. My bank is closed so I wouldn’t have known someone was using my card. They asked for last 4 numbers of your social, name on account and birth month and year. They went over my recent transactions. They did not cancel my card. They only blocked it. I will have to call my bank to close the card tomorrow during business hours. Without this company, someone would have continued to use my card without me knowing.

Norfolk Community Federal Credit Union (Financial services) reported by


Norfolk Community Federal credit Union leaving me a voicemail to call them back about fraudulent behavior on my card and that my card was frozen for security check. They gave me a case number. However, instead of calling them back, I called my own card services number where they directed the line to fraud assistance. Turns out my card did have fraudulent behavior and we were able to resolve issues. If you're nervous about calling back the unknown number, just call your own card service number to confirm with them. If it is legitimate, then the case number given to you will be on file.

I did not call this number, I called my Credit Union and they verified the call and removed the hold. This number belongs to a company my Credit Union uses to monitor members credit cards for fraudulent use.

Called to verify a potentially suspicious credit card transaction I recently made (it was an international one but it was legit) on behalf of my VISA card through my credit union. Since I didn't answer the initial call they left a voicemail with my name and a case number requesting I call back. When I called back they asked for my name, phone number and case number (which obviously they already had) to verify my identity. No other personal info was requested. The service rep then went over the suspicious transaction along with a few other recent ones by reading out each one and having me answer YES or NO if I made it. Totally legit.
