didn't answer but received vm from this number regarding fraud, referred to the last 4 of my debit card. Assuming scam, I called the number on the back of my card to verify and it was legit. Seems like spoofers may also use this number, so better to be safe and call a known B of A number and speak to a person.

I would not provide SS# so had to answer security questions which I did. B of A checked a fraud charge to my account and wished to verify. This is legit in my view.

These folks are scammers, if you dont answer they leave you a voice message. Dont pick up the call, dont call back. Bank of America's fraud line is a different number.

This is a scam. They also called me at 2am and woke me up from a sound sleep which **** me off like no other. So I called back to what was an obviously fraudulent answering service. Block this number.

Be careful! They called me and asked my Driver Licence number and my BoA online ID. My cousin works in BoA for 3 years and he told me BoA representatives never ask for sensitive information like online ID or Driver Licence number. It was totally scam! BE CAREFUL!

Call from "Bank of America fraud department" stated that a temporary hold had been placed on our account due to a fraudulent charge of $0.37 from an internet health company. The caller had the last 4 digits of our card account, our name and obviously our phone number. We called the phone number on the back of our credit card and the BOA representative said that this number was NOT AFFILIATED WITH Bank of America. There was a charge of $0.37 from the store the phone call stated. The Bank representative said that they could have gotten our information from a discarded receipt and were trying to get more information about the account so they could access it. A common scam they said.
