Person had my name but was obvious didn’t really have full info because was saying they needed to verify my info. He said he represented a company that I had a bad debt with ( He used its abbreviated name that can be found only in random info on internet) I told him I knew I didn’t have Any debt in collections with that company. I told him if it was real then he could mail me a letter He said he couldn’t because he didn’t have my address. Exactly because it’s a Scam. I hung up and blocked the number. Don’t let them scare you.

"Calling about a personal matter" (Unsolicited call) reported by


Caller asked me to verify my address so he knew he was speaking with the correct person. I declined to provide it. He said he wouldn't be able to speak with me about the personal matter if I didn't confirm my address. I said I don't give personal data to inbound callers. He hung up.

Just happened to me, so after going full on sailor mouth and refusing to verify anything until i was told what the personnel business matter was and of course they couldnt tell me until they verified who i was, i hung up, now to see how long it takes to call me back

BEWARE!! Too many FTC complaints to count. Some say Debt Collector, Some say Scam Caller. Either way, they phish for information per community and www. Just don't waste your time answering!!
