Got 2 phone calls from 1-800-900-1380. The first was a recording about owing a debt. I hung up! The second was a live person, American accent, who asked for me by name. I said, 'Speaking.' She said, 'Excuse me?' I yelled in her ear, 'SPEAKING!' I'm mad already! She asked me to verify my address. I asked who are you and what do you want. She said she couldn't tell me anything until I verified my address. She's **** off now and I'm smiling! I told her, 'I'm not verifying anything until you tell me who you are and what you want!' 'Okay, thank you!' {click} Now I'm laughing!

Important Business Matter (Nuisance call) reported by


Asked for me by name. Wanted me to confirm the city I lived in and the last 4 of my social. I told her I didn't live in that city and I was not giving out my last 4. I asked who she was, she said Jolese. I asked where she was calling from and why. She hesitated but then said Penn Credit and they had a personal business matter to discuss. I told her I wasn't interested and hung up. She called back twice before I blocked the number. I never heard of Penn Credit but a Google search shows they are a debt collector. I don't owe anyone any money so I am not sure if she was trying to sell me something or scam me.

When I asked what the call was about they said it was about a important matter for a person by my name however they would not give any information about the matter until I confirmed a bunch of personal information which I refused so when I told them I do not give my personal information out to random phone numbers without identification they said they will note that on the account and hung up

I called the number back to find out who was calling. They did not identify themselves but knew my name and number, city and state. They asked me to provide my address and I refused until I knew who was calling. The person was American, would not provide me with any details and was very upset that I was not cooperating. Most places that call about a debt, etc., are not hiding their company names.

How u wanna speak to somebody but don’t have all the info. All u have is a name and a number you calling on that dose not belong to that person and in no way connect to that person. It’s my personal and private phone. Scammers people beware DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO WHAT SO EVER. THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YOU JUST A NAME AND A PHONE NUMBER. THEY HAVE NOTHING AND FISHING AROUND FOR YOU TO TALK TO GET MORE. Be SMART!

Calling sometimes several times a day without leaving a voicemail. Finally answered today. They asked to talk to an M and gave the last name. When asked for who are they looking for they just repeated it. I told them that the M can stand for Mr/Mrs/Ms. She said she must have the wrong number. I told her that it was _______ residents however, there is a lot of us here. She just said ok I must have the wrong number again and hung up.

No idea who it is. when answered they paused for 10 seconds. then screamed in my ear. they said my name, asked for more information, I asked what is it about. would not answer my question until o gave information. i answered they should have my information in front of them and same conversation over and over again.
