Woman answered and verified my name. Immediately demanded I verify my address. When I asked what was going on she said it was a "personal matter in her office but that I need to verify my address to move forward." TLDR, my living situation is complicated so I genuinely don't know which address she may be referring to. I ask for her name and who she works for, but our connection was bad so communication was spotty. She just repeated *my need* to verify my information when she was the one who called my unsolicited. I was flummoxed and trying to decide what to do next. Before I could respond she said, "But if you don't want to verify, that's fine," in a snotty tone and hung up on me. Absolutely bizarre. Goggled the number and came across all of this info. Can't imagine what bs debt they think they're going to collect on, but I have nothing behind in payment, let alone delinquent or collectable.

The lady asked right away after stateing my name that I verify my address when I refused till she told me what it was regarding she refused to tell me then smugly said ok then (like I had it now) and hung up

I also told her I wasn't telling them my address or social an she stated it wasn't a scam an hung up . I blocked the number

They called me today, I answered the call. Wanted me to verify my address and social. I would not. Was told well we cannot continue the call. I said that is fine but I will not verify something if I don’t know who you are or where your calling from and what it is pertaining to. She then hung up on me. You know I used to have debt and have paid it all off wish they would stop calling.. so annoying

They somehow knew my name, I have no debt, perfect credit score - the have 2 options - 1 is to pay the 37 they said I owed and I would mail in or 2 - I would not be able to pay in the next 5 days. I pressed all options to try and trick out the system - it didn’t work. I added to call block list on my Panasonic’s home phone

Penn credit collection agency. Edgar called and wanted money for Pennsylvania American Water Company even though I did not have an account with them at that address and I did not ever live at the mailing address that they were mailing the bills too. fortunately my accountant keeps good records and we were able to prove that all of my bills at my address of 25 years we're paid in full and actually I have a 300 dollar credit on my account. be careful dealing with penn collection. he talks with a foreign Arab accent and he sounds like a scammer he refuses to give any information but wants you to give him credit card information to prove you are the right person he needs to talk to

Absolutely NEVER give out a credit card # or bank account info to ANYONE who calls you! Even if you think you know the company that is calling, keep in mind --- Anyone can call claiming to be so & so! Same with text & emails.

They've left messages for over a year, so I finally tried to call them back and was on hold for 4min so I got worried that it might be a scam where I get charged for that time. I will NEVER call another unknown number again. SO ANNOYING, they call all hours of day, any day of year. This is STALKING, as far as I'm concerned! How dare these predators invade my life!

Pre-recorded call saying press this that and the other thing and they asked for a 'Maria Armstrong'. Of course no one here ever by that name. It seems odd. They are calling my answering machine which is generic anyway, just annoying.
