Answered phone only to wait a few seconds until a Joshua Holland mentioned his name and then asked if he was speaking with me by my name. No mention for the purpose of the call. I immediately hung up. Within a few minutes I received another call from 731-738-0964, I answered and there was no response on the other end before they hung up. I called this number back, only to hear a recording that this number had been disconnected and no longer in service.

They called my mother, were silent until my mother got obnoxious and they said they were looking for me. My mother hasn't been a contact for me since I was 16. They wouldn't tell her what it was regarding but they asked her for all my personal info. She refused, they hung up and she immediately let me know about the call.

I also received a call from them and they asked me to verify my personal info and refused to tell me who they were or what the matter was concerning. You can't expect someone to disclose personal information without telling them what the purpose is and expecting them to believe it

ROBO CALL ASKING FOR ME, SAID IF YOU PRESS 1. SO I WENT ALONG TO SEE WHAT IT WAS ABOUT. IT WAS PENN CREDIT CLAIMING THAT I HAD A PAST DUE AMOUNT OF $96.85 OWED TO PCH . I HUNG UP. I CALLED PCH TO SEE IF I OWED THEM ANYTHING. I SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE AT PCH. I WAS ASSURED THAT I OWED NOTHING AND NOTHING WAS REFERRED TO COLLECTIONS. THIS PENN CREDIT IN MY OPINION IS A COVER FOR SOME SCAM ARTIST.

They called several times and I didn't answer - they usually only let it ring a few times but I only pick up on 7 or 8 rings, no answering machine. Caller ID has this number and "Penn Cr." ONE time I DID answer and they asked for someone who NEVER lived here, but I knew who it was - the daughter of my recently deceased brother who DID live here. I'm now guessing that they did a basic internet search and found MY phone number and HIS daughter's name, and put the two together, hoping to find out if my brother actually died without an estate to pay his debts (which he did). And so, a company he owed money to (one of two) is trying to find out if there is anyone who would be legally required to repay his debt. Unfortunately for them, there is no such person.

They called and asked for a person that lived in my building once. I believe they are debt collectors and google pple that share that persons last known address. They wouldnt explain how they got my number and hung up when I said it was the wrong number. My husband got the same call weeks later looking for the same person.

Got 2 phone calls from 1-800-900-1380. The first was a recording about owing a debt. I hung up! The second was a live person, American accent, who asked for me by name. I said, 'Speaking.' She said, 'Excuse me?' I yelled in her ear, 'SPEAKING!' I'm mad already! She asked me to verify my address. I asked who are you and what do you want. She said she couldn't tell me anything until I verified my address. She's **** off now and I'm smiling! I told her, 'I'm not verifying anything until you tell me who you are and what you want!' 'Okay, thank you!' {click} Now I'm laughing!
