I already got a call from the number 713-568-69xx and now a call from this number! And both calls are supposedly from a prison facility of a prisoner trying to contact me even though I don't know anybody that's in prison wtf

It was a call from GTL to add money to an inmate's book. I don't know anyone who is in jail or prison, so I don't know why I received this call.

I do not know anyone in jail (Scam flag #1) and my number has never had a prior owner. I've received this call on several occasions, most recent in Feb 2020, it saying a relative, who died 4 years ago (Scam flag #2), is calling from jail and I need to provide money to keep in contact (Scam flag #3). SCAM!!!!!! The number calling may be legitimate, but it has been spoofed by someone to get my card information! No thank you.
