An inmate from a correctional facility. It is collect, so the receiver of the call pays. But ended up being an immediate family relative in jail. NOT A SCAM. Confirm where and who the call is coming from before paying of course.

I don't know anyone in that part of California or anyone in jail. Left 1-800-483-8314 as an automated service to set up the account or go to www.connectnetwork.com.

It rang. I answered. No one was talking on the other end. I do know someone in jail but I do not know that they know my number so I assume it is a spam call or maybe a wrong number?
