They are NOT a scam. They are a credit and debit card monitoring service working on behalf of thousands of financial institutions around the country to monitor cards for potential fraud. I've dealt with them 3 times; twice the activity was legit, but once it actually was fraud. They are trying to protect your card and your money. Do not ignore their call! Just give them the case number in the message they send, then you won't have to provide any other personal information. Called my bank to verify this company's legitimacy and my bank verified they are real and legit.

Posing as my bank, saying there's been fraudulent activity on my account. I called my bank and they said it was not them who called me. DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL THEM BACK. JUST CALL YOUR BANK AND CHECK WITH THEM.

I received a text posed as an automated text from my bank in Wisconsin, and to text yes or no if I had made a charge (which I hadn't). I texted back NO, and then received another "automated" text saying they would call me. They stated at some point that they were a secondary company (not directly from my bank) which should have made me suspicious, but I was kind of worked up from the possibility of my information being stolen. I ended up giving them information to "prove" to them it was me, which I'm sure is going to **** with my credit history if they steal my identity. I'm sure most people are smarter than me, so please just call your bank directly from the number on the back of your card instead.

Hackers received my bank card info, made a dummy card used it 6x's at Arundel Mills 3 times were successful. So they texted me with a message saying they were from my bank's fraud dept asking if I made these purchases, I texted back no. They called my cell and my job, asked me if I made the purchases and asked to verify some info and that they would cancel my card and get back to me in 48hrs after an investigation. Long story short, the hackers only notified me so I would leave my account wide open for them. Fraud protection did not help me, not the way they used my info. Check all your transactions on all your accounts as a habit forever because this is just getting started.
