Initially I interacted with an automated message but after waiting on the line I was able to speak with a person. They provided adequate information to make me believe that they were not committing a scam (They told me charges on my card they wouldn't be able to know without being legit).

This was a fraud protection services call. It was a robot talking (not a real person), it stated my name, the last 4 digits of my credit card, gave me a case number to reference, and gave me instructions to call them back. I did NOT provide any personal information at all. I hung up, called them back, put in the case number, it described the fraudulent transaction (still a robot and not a human yet), and waited on hold for 10 minutes to talk to a representative. While on hold, I logged into my credit card account online and it showed a declined charge that matched all of the information the robot described. I hung up and called the customer service phone number on the back of my credit card (a human) and had them cancel my credit card. I will be getting a new card in 7 business days. This phone call was legit and notified me BEFORE my normal notification system from my bank (I'm notified of every purchase above 1 cent). TL/DR: This was a legit phone call and I wasn't asked for any personal information. I cancelled my compromised credit card and I'm getting a new one.

so glad that i answered the called. Super helpful and great services. All they wanted to know some of the transation that happened on my CC and I were aware about it. And Called the bank to replace card.

They called about fraudulent activity on my debit card. They didn't ask for personal info, they just asked if I wanted to cancel the card. I said yes please, and then they said I should get in touch with my own bank to get a new card. I was a little worried they weren't legit, but they didn't ask for any security info or details ( no account numbers or passwords, etc). My bank confirmed they did close my compromised card.

This is a legit number from a credit card fraud monitoring company that my bank uses. They called the phone number that I have registered with my bank and gave me a case number. When I called back from that number all they needed to verify that it was me was the case number they left when they called and asked for no other personal information. They went through several charges I had just recently made to verify that I had made those charges. This was not the first time I received a call from this company and was happy that my bank uses them to keep my finances safe. Please note that this is a robot style call (not a real person).

Had a text message to call regarding a charge on a credit or debit card at a cell phone store. First i checked all my card numbers against the last 6 digits the text mentioned, i have no cards with those digits. I call back and got an automated prompt it is a credit union and the prompt when i responded i was not the named person they were looking for said thank you and i hung up

3rd Party Fraud Trx Service provided by my bank, glad I took the call. They confirmed the date and Trx amounts and canceled my ATM card for me. I called the bank 5 minutes later to report lost or stolen, and they confirmed my card had already been cancelled. Totally Legit

I'm glad they called....I'm actually glad i answered it as my bank card was compromised and that's why the were calling, to make sure i made the purchase they were asking about. It was a real person and they were correct in the info they asked about.

Received a text asking if i authorized 1.00 for a certain transaction and if i did not to press No. Received a 24 hr number to call with a case number. The call was monitored and recorded. I talked with a live English speaking Human who told me my info. He never asked me to verify anything or ask for any personal information. I did not give him any information, other than to tell him I did not authorize the transaction in question. He shut down my card and told me to call my bank to have a new card sent.
