That is Telus fault. Telus is responsible for all scam calls by using this Toll Free number. Telus has given permission of using this number to many people in India, Pakistan or Philippine as telemarketers then they use this number to steal people identities. Telus will answer if you call back the same number without dialing. It is Telus. I reported to Police for investigation.

Specific Telus calls are normally in Canada and at times local base of your own city. Rare that they call you direct from there main office which will be from Ontario and not a 1-888 number which can be changed from scammers under a different IP protocol. Do not bother answering it and leaving your details out.

I am having the same issue. They call every Saturday morning when I am sleeping after a night shift and they never say anything. They just hang up when I say hello.

Caller said he was calling on behalf of Telus - but he didn't know my information, didn't do any verification, and when I said I was uncomfortable as I couldn't tell if he was from Telus or not, he got angry. When I said thank you, but I'll contact Telus directly, he said I wouldn't get the same deals and tried to continue the call. Very suspicious, glad I didn't give him any info. He also had a strong accent.

The guy called, saying he was from Telus with a promotional offer. I said 'no thanks' and hung up. He called again, asking if I was interested at which point I said 'no, that's why I hung up', and hung up. Third time he called, he said 'I'm interested...I want to talk with you'...so I said I was calling the cops and hung up. 3 more times he called until a male colleague picked up pretending to be a girl, then straight up calling him a loser for harassing me. DO NOT PICK UP THIS NUMBER!!!!
