Just received a call from 888-566-9799 claiming to be the US Federal Treasury Department and I have been awarded a $9,000.00. She asked me how I would like to receive it and I told her to send me the check by US Mail. She hung up.

They had $9000 for me. Iwas suppose to call their finance dept to claim my money.I started asking too many questions so that was that.

they want you to pay the fees for the $$ but wont take it out of what you will get. they claim you need to send it to prove you are who you say you are. they have many different phone numbers they call from. I told one guy one time that I will not give him ANY of my info and he called me pretty much every name in the book. idk how he got my new phone number ive only had it 2month but ive been getting these call for YEARS!

Called claiming to be the government offering a $9000 grant in cash or my bank account. When I asked him what was my name, he hung up and then blocked my number.

the same exact thing with me but funny is he knew the state i was in when i just got there days earlier and he alreayd knew my first and last name i took down all the info he gave me because i told him ill call him back later but thank god i found this website im going to report him to somebody!! i knew it had to be a scam at first anyway because he told me a famly member signed m up but i only talk to my mom and she wouldnt do it and i asked her if she did and she said no so i am so going to report this as soon as i can because im only 19 and i do not need any federal mess happening to me already
