got a call from this number when I was out of town to notify me my online payment to BestBuy Card had been denied. I authorized them to try it again. got home 2 days later and checked my CitiBank/BestBuy account, and they did exactly what I authorized them to do. I'm actually glad they called since I did not know my scheduled online payment had been denied (not sure WHY it was denied)

However they can and will do nothing to prove it, other than repeatedly claim they are real, or insist they are calling from Citi or Best Buy, or claim they are looking directly at your account-but can't provide any information from the account to prove it.
