Lady asked for my name several times, and I said yes. I have this sketchy feeling she was recording my voice. She then informed me I was 8 days past due for a payment and oddly enough knew exactly how much I owed. Funny thing is I pay my cards on time.

They called and ask for someone that I am not then proceeded to say that took out a payday loan in 2015 for $500.00 in which I do not do nor have I ever done. What surprised me was that it was not a foreigner and if she was she spoke very good English. Upon asking her direct questions she continued to fumble with her words and told her do not call my phone line again and hung up then proceeded to block the number.

I received call from 8778365643 - Luckily it showed up as “Spam Risk”.. I usually don’t attend, but my 7 year old son answered it first .. the lady sayid she is calling from Best Buy internal collections dept - saying my August payment is past due. I don’t know how they know my exact monthly installment.. luckily I setup Autopay and mentioned same - she said it’s not reflecting there and conferenced to Customer services. She asked to confirm first name, last name, last 4 digits of social and then DOB. It looked fishy and I stopped at last 4 digits of social and told I will call BB direct number and hung up.. they make you believe they r from BEst buy or where ever they got your info from..

got a call from this number when I was out of town to notify me my online payment to BestBuy Card had been denied. I authorized them to try it again. got home 2 days later and checked my CitiBank/BestBuy account, and they did exactly what I authorized them to do. I'm actually glad they called since I did not know my scheduled online payment had been denied (not sure WHY it was denied)
