Claims there was fraud activity on my card. Knew bank name and last 4 digits of the card. However when I contacted my bank there was no such activity and my card was not frozen. They are trying to steal money from your bank. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE TELLING YOU

Received a text msg, an email, then a phone call 877 253 8964 all reporting possible fraudulent attempt using my bank card. First I called my local bank who verified a purchase was declined that matched the info in the previous text,email,and phone call. My bank advised me to return the call. This call was from bonafide bank fraud center. They were very helpful. I still would never return a call like this without first calling my bank.

I've been called by them each time a hold has been placed on my debit card. They'll have you enter a case number if you call them and it goes to voicemail. They'll either disable your card if there has been fraud or they will reopen access to your card if you confirm the purchases made on your card. They don't do any weird **** with it, good service.

Don't answer. Call your bank. They said they're were a fraud detection center and knew the last 4 of my debit card but didn't know my bank name. Red Flag number 1. Try again!

Big Time PHISHING + Criminal Activity (Scam call) reported by


Unsolicited call to mobile around 8 am (and subsequent calls ever since) | Caller ID (877) 253-8964 United States | Calls do NOT show USA on caller ID if legit - all "normal" calls show city/state, etc. | Caller claimed to be from the fraud department of cardholder services and wanted to confirm the last 4 digits of my card (which they knew, btw), they also phished for additional information and I hung up | Phoned actual cc services and they reported unauthorized transactions were attempted throughout the last few hours (and named the attempts which were online retailers based in the UK that I've never heard of) | These people have obviously tapped into legit online purchases because they knew quite a lot of personal information that I didn't provide | BEWARE - This is a bad one - not just typical spam, robo-call, or telemarketer - these are criminals who are actively trying to wipe out your creditcard/debitcard. Do NOT Answer and do NOT provide personal information! Phone your actual creditcard holder services and ask to speak to the fraud department to report this. BLOCK THIS NUMBER.

I had the same call from the same phone number and they also said they were from my bank. They left a voice Mail with a case number. They knew the last four digits of my card. They knew my full name. Please pay attention, anytime you use your card the receipt lists the last four numbers of your card and you full name! Block this caller immediately!

I received a call from this number shortly after my bank card had been declined while traveling. The call was to determine whether I intended to make the purchase in this out-of-state town. When I verified three transactions (they provided the details - I did not have to supply them), the hold on my card was removed. This is a helpful service intended to protect the customer.
