I told them i dont do things over a phone and to send me a letter. They were very rude so i hung up. If I do owe them money they wont be getting it lol. Plus its not on my credit report so who cares

So I answered the phone and asked about the bill because under my (Debt collector) reported by


So answer the phone I just got the bill in the mail yesterday which was to my surprise so I asked a question where this bill came from and I said I already paid it and he said OK well do you have proof of that? I said yes, I will have to find it and I’ll have to call you back when I do find the information, who would I send it to and he told me well when you call back I’ll give you that information. I said that doesn’t sound very professional. Eventually he gave me an email address, but in my opinion, when I ask when I get information to send you and you don’t give me any information you tell me if you call me back I’ll give you that information does not sound very professional. Sounds like a scam.

They called me from a spoofed number which is illegal. They make it look like someone from China is calling you. A gimmick with this covoid19 going around, maybe they think I’ll think it’s done stuck in china trying to reach me. I have software on my phone to see real time information no matter if the number is unknown or spoofed.
