Call claimed to be fraud dept from Barclay MasterCard telling me I have a hold on my account and to call back and enter your credit number. I looked up Barclay's website and called that number. They said it is a phishing scam.

This number passes itself off as the REAL Barlcay Card, according to the real company this is phishing, which they report happens a lot. Report this number to FCC and whomever, but don't call back or answer.

I received a call from this number. It was automated and states that calling in regards to my Barclay MasterCard. I don't own a MasterCard, I just came out of a Bankruptcy a little over a year ago. So I figured maybe a mistake some old account they were calling on. It will only let you talk too a representative if you input your credit card number. I have a fraud background and I can say with certainty that this is a scam number. Auto mated dialers already have your information. The merchants may call and verify light security but they don't ask for the full card number.
