They have called for several days, and tonight we were home to answer. They asked for my husband, and I asked who it was and what it was in regards to as I am his wife. I was informed they "must" speak to him,as they had no record of me on the account. That was the first flag, since we share the account, and I told him as much. Regardless, I have my husband the phone, who refused to give his birthday and address, since he pointed out "you're calling me, you should have it. But if this IS a scam, I am not giving you my info". Then he hung up. He called 53rd bank, and asked if they had called, and they said no, and furthermore, this is NOT one of their numbers, and all of our accounts are in good standing. This is a SCAM. They are phishing. Do not give your information.

Woman with thick foreign accent called. Said was 5/3 bank. Asked for address and birth date. I asked what call was regarding. Wouldn’t tell me until I’d given info. Said it was personal business call. I told her to mail it to me. I did not give info then called 5/3 myself. They had no record of anyone reaching out to me or any flag on my accounts that indicated I needed to be contacted

It has been a man with an accent calling. Today, it was a woman with the same accent. They claim to be with Fifth Third bank, which happens to be my bank. I told her that I had spoken with the manger of the location nearest me, which I had. He said that it was not a Fifth Third number. I told her that her that he had launched an investigation into it for the fraud that is. "Ok thank you", CLICK!

Received a call today ask for me by name said he was with 5th third bank and needed my date of birth to verify it was me . When I ask him what it was about he said he was not allow to tell me so I said them I am not allow to give you my date of birth then click he hung up.

Some young man who didn't have the courtesy to try to pronounce my name correctly said it was a "personal business" call. When he tried to get more information, I told him to have my bank's branch contact me and hung up on him.
