They call outside the allowed times, even collections agencies have rules and can only call between 8A and 5P local time, and this place called me at 7A! Even if they are legit they are breaking the law by calling outside the allowed times. There are too many on here saying they claim to be Lowes or Student Loan Forgiveness also so that's another red flag, same number that claims to be several different things? Yeah, scam.

Said was with Quickbooks/His name was Malcom/Was told had error (Scam call) reported by


Malcom called saying he was from Quickbooks Support. Was told have an error running in the back round in Quickbooks and to call this number. Accidentally called an old Quickbooks number (thank God)and spoke with tech. He checked, but was no error. He asked for the number of the guy that called saying had error. Talked with Support for QB, and they told me they NEVER call the customer, the customer has to contact them first, then they will reply.

The lady on the phone said i was eligible for Student Loan Forgiveness. This is the number she gave for me to call back. The number that show's up on my phone was 205-341-9511 which i have had blocked on my phone. That's how I know it's a scam. I get phone calls every year about this time. They have called me 8 times. The call is coming in from Tuscaloosa, AL.

foreign accent man said they were 5th 3rd bank, then asked for my date of birth and address. I asked again who was calling and then he promptly hung up on me... which is what scammers do.

I called the number since I have had fraud before recently returned from a trip. Fifth Third was watching my account. so I returned the call. There was no answer. I did not give my account number. I then called the real Fifth Third customer service line. The service representative is not from the fraud department and we will verify on Monday but the text of the calls was NOT typical scripting or in line with Fifth Third's customer care. This is a scam phishing for personal info.
