Fairly certain legit call from fraud department at my credit union (or contracted by my credit union) because I had difficulty accessing money with my new ATM card then got this alert. Received a text message asking if I tried to withdrawal $##% (accurate amount) from my credit union (had that name too) along with last few of my brand new ATM card. Legit for me...

A woman's recorded voice gave prompts in English with option for Spanish, saying "Press 1". Then it wants you to enter the number they just called - that is, the number of the phone you're on at that moment. (It seems funny they wouldn't know the number they just called and are communicating with you on.) Then, in my case, it said it wasn't able to locate that file, and wants you to press another number in order to continue with the process, which probably means entering more of your personal information - which I did not do... We called our credit union and there is not fraud alert at all therefore my conclusion is that this is some sort of a scam that might seem very convincing in the way of a supposedly legitimate fraud alert. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE READING THIS TO PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Got a call from them dying they were fraud detection and I was unsure and gave no information and they told me to follow up with my bank so I still have to do that but, my personal opinion is that if they ask for information over the phone don’t give it to them unless you initiate the call with intent of giving some info to do something.

Robocall that directed me to call another 877 number. Asked to verify name and zip code only. Legitimately a service through my credit union. Called credit union to verify and attempts made on our debit cards. Cards closed. All good.
