Received call. Long pause before recorded message played telling me to return a call with a case number. Called number. Case number was missing one number, but using my phone number they pulled up all information. I gave no identifying details whatsoever. They mentioned everybody by first name, middle initial, and last name, making sure that they lived here of April 1. I verified only that nobody was living anywhere else and that nobody else was living here as of April 1. They gave each name, I did not. Obviously of foreign descent, assuming lower wage. Heavy accent does not equate scame.

It was a foreigner who couldn't even speak clear English and so I highly doubt this was the census calling ....they have spoofed the number , when I hung up on them , I got another call from a different number but same foreigner ....it's scam calls ...beware and don't fool yourself .....my census was completed with no errors and confirmed months ago ....and I have no college kids in my household , just me here .....it is a spoofed scam call

Less than 7 mins to confirm information regarding my college aged son. Simply verifying where he was living on April 1 and to ensure no other individuals were not included in the census. Very sweet lady.

These people are nice and get personal information about your son that you already answered. They should not know your name. They never ask. Seems redundant to call as it defeats the purpose of you answering the information online. Verification is like calling you a liar. No names are associated with your address only codes. Please report to the Federal trade Commission.

They don't already have your information. Scammer ask questions to get information they need and don't have. They are super nice so be careful.

This was the actual Census Bureau and they DO have the information in front of them. The call is to verify whether anyone else lives at your location and whether the individuals you listed have other homes where they might be listed (e.g., my son who is in the military overseas).

Its legit, but annoying as hell. I filled out the census online, to avoid calling in my info, mailing it in, or dealing with someone at my door (we were not under lock and key then). So they proceed on the call to ask me basically every f-in question all over again. Even if I answered the question mid-sentence, he would continue reading the paragraph-long question. I asked, If I answer before you finish the question, can we move on to the next. He said no, so I said I am done with the call and hanging up.

I received a call from this number but was unable to answer it. I called back and spoke with Juan who conducted a brief review of our household's census responses. The reason we received the follow-up call was to confirm the usual address of our child in college. Call lasted under 7 minutes in total, and the person was very polite and courteous.

Man on the phone wanted my information and when I asked why he said it was for the 2020 census, then told me he had all my information but needed to verify the information and make sure he was talking to the correct person. So I told him my first name and said if you have all my information you dont need anymore and he hung up on me. SCAM
