Got call around 7:00 PM and left a voicemail. I listened to it and he just mumbled and I could not understand/decipher him. I googled the phone number and this is where it took me so I’ll ignore it. If it was legit, you would have more professional notice than this hack.

received call from this number. declined the call as I was driving at the time. voicemail message was left. caller said his name(Jerry) and he was calling about a debt collection for Wakefield & Associates and then rattled off a contact number that wasn't the same as the one that called and he fairly well mumbled it so I couldn't call it back if I wanted to. Treating this as a crank/scammer/unwanted call. If it was truly debt collection they can send me something in the mail. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts: people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different companies, but for sure some general call center. I recommend to block the whole 8445540xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

Ask for my son, which he never uses my number. Said it was fine when I told him it would be a long time before he could call him back. Didn't ask why or how long before he could call him back. Only said that's fine.
