Have received other calls from same number - same number, different scam. This one, via a recording, offerred to lower the interest rate on my current credit card account. They didn't say which card nor did they identify who they represented. If I refused the offer they would close the account. Pressing 1 got me to a live person who asked how I was doing. I told him I was fine till I got his phone call. Before he could say more I simply told him "no respectable credit card company would close an account in very good standing simply because the client refused an offer to lower their rate, so I'm afraid I'll have to block you. Good bye."
