Do not fall for this scam. Received a call from this number stating my BoA account was in jeopardy, due to a Zelle transaction. I do not have a BoA account, nor do I use Zelle.

Complete scam. Why haven't these people been caught and prosecuted yet for all the money they are stealing from unaware people? Why hasn't bank of america taken action against them for claiming to be from there and calling on BofA behalf!!!

They called me to lower my credit card amount. (Financial services) reported by


As soon as the foreign Indy accent briefly said he was here to help lower my credit card balance he automatically asks for numbers on my credit card. I rambled off numbers saying I was feeling the numbers because I can’t see them too well. Kept him busy for 15 min trying to get my correct numbers before he hung up on me. Tried calling back to mess with them some more but the answer machine just want you to input your Bank of America checking account and social security number... which I just pushed a bunch of numbers. They put me on hold for 20 min so far saying about I’m on hold for the Fraud Dept. hung up. Total BS.

I called the number back and the automated system identified itself as Bank of America and asked me to enter my account number to get started. I hung up because BOA never asks for that info.

Received a recent call appearing to come from this number. I knew it was a scam but the caller kept insisting he could prove it was not and that he was calling from a bank. Told him I knew he was lying and terminated the call. Tried the number again later and reached BOA credit card center. An Indian call center has been spoofing the origin of their calls and using BOA to legitimize hoping to get banking or CC information from people it calls. Do not trust anyone calling from this number. If you want to speak with BOA, call them on another number. This number has been COMPROMISED.
