2 min ago I don't answer calls that aren't stored in my phone anymore because of all these indian scammers. I have a voicemail that states that and says if you personally know me leave a message and I'll call back... if you're a scammer, know that I'm reporting every call to the police and all other legal agencies so please do keeping calling and leaving messages and learn our language! Robocall, thick accent... claimed to be AT&T. Said my account was compromised due to suspicious activity, and that if I wanted to “maintain access to my account online, Press 1 now.” I hung up and blocked number.

Called me 3x in quick succession but I did not pick up. No voicemail left either time. Then they called my girlfriend who is also on the account. She picked up. They said they were AT&T and offered a discount/credit but she needed to use a code they were going to text her.

Called claiming to be AT&T. Said that they were calling to let me know there would be maintenance tomorrow, and my area might be without cellular service from 2pm->4pm. After telling me this - they said they needed my permission to remove my account from the list of #'s to call - and to do so they would send me a free text message with a 1-time acknowledgement pin. Received a text from 7539, which had said one-time pin, and refused to provide it to the caller, offering to call back at 611 instead. Caller argued, I hung up. Called 611 - no maintenance is planned.
