When I answered the call they had the AT&T theme chime, the one they use in the commercials, and the robotic voice said "your at&t wireless account has been suspended for suspicious activity, and we need you to verify your personal information. Please press #1 and follow the instructions". I hung up because I knew it was a scam. How you ask? I don't have an AT&T Wireless account and this phone number is not the number for AT&T. their customer service is 800/---/2020

Left message that my AT&T wireless acc’t has been suspended & that I needed to call back immediately for verification to reactive my acc’t. They were going to send my cell phone a code to ”confirm” my account was valid. Logged into “myAT&T” website to see if my account had been suspended - it was not!! What an eff’ing SCAM from a bunch of low-life hoople heads!!

i just got a call from a heavily accented man saying he was from AT&T and they are calling customers who might be affected by text messaging issues. I can't believe AT&T would make outbound calls to see if their customers are experiencing issues. i hung up.
