I've been getting calls which phone number is legit. But I strongly believe that the number is being spoof. When I didn't answer, no voice mail was left. So when I called back and talked to someone at Center point energy (gas) they informed me that no one from the company called me. I thought it was odd because I am a customer. So I waited for them to call again. And just a day ago I happen to pick up my phone when they called. I answered it, and a man with a thick Spanish accent, answered the phone and asked what was my name and if I spoke Spanish? I said no. And when I asked who is this, what is it that you want? He hung up the phone. And when I redailed the number it went to the legit company. I then reported the incident to center point. And I was told to try to keep the spammers on the line the next time they called to see if I could get some information. So I unexpectedly got a call from them again. It was the same man who called me the other day with the thick Spanish accent. I respond "hello" he replied hello. Then I asked may I help you? And he hung up the phone. I *67 him and it didn't go through. Obviously this is in fact a spoof caller. Using this legit number.
