centerpoint energy cutting off power speaking only in spanish then I told them speak in English said would transfer me then I said I speak spanish but I want to know why you are calling if I am looking online and my account is current what account number are you talking about disconnecting and bam hung up on me.

The caller stated I had 30 minutes to pay my 2 months of back service because my account was delinquent. I said I was going to call the company my electric contract is thru and the person got irate. I hung up and called my electric provider who confirmed my account was in good standing and all paid up. They had my electric usage data from the past 2 months. Sure would like to know how they got that information.

While it is my understanding Centerpoint maintains the equipment, I make my payments to my chosen service provider, do not pay directly to Centerpoint.
