Returned call, rude guy answered claiming he is the IRS and If I can hear him. When I told him the IRS don't call, they mail notices. He was like, "ugh!.. I told you already we the IRS. He had a middle eastern accent and was very rude. I then told him I'm going to turn you all in to the government and hung up.

A voice recording stated they were the IRS and there was a lawsuit against me and a warrant for my arrest and to call. I called immediately and something that the IRS never does is answer their phone on the 1st ring and a lady answered "this is the IRS". This in my 35+ yrs of experience NEVER happens. When I stated that I was calling regarding a harassing message that I was being sued and a warrant for my arrest was out she asked for my name and I gave first name only. I have an unusual name and therefore she asked for it again, I asked What the harassment call was about and she hung up. WHEN on the face of this earth has or will the IRS ever hang up on someone who is being sued from them and why would they block my number when I attempted to call back 3 times in a row.

basically block them and DON't RETURN THEIR CALL.. 100000) PERCENT SCAMMERS. I just wrapped up a 7 year audit with the IRS ( i won 5 of the 7 years!). Three of the basic IRS RULES of ENGAGEMENT: #1 They will never call you out of the BLUE.. they will always send a pretty formal letter which will have all of their contact info plus all your info on it.. DO NOT TOSS THIS LETTER.. get in ASAP and hammer out the issues. #2 They will never call you other than to update a meeting time or request that you bring additional information. As a policy the IRS will not go into details of any tax issue on the phone with you during your audit.. They might call and ask for more info, but they will not go back and forth over the phone #3 All IRS agents prefer meeting with you at your place of BIZ.. better to go to them.. easier and they tend to work wth you if you respect them, don't hammer them and do what you say. If you are running late.. call the examiner.. don't let them hang.. this only costs you in the final audit evaluation.

They claim to be representing the IRS and that they're sueing you. The funny thing is that they need all your info. Like The IRS doesn't have your info! The IRS just takes the money they owe them and will audit you. They'll send plenty of letters. Don't fall for it.

The robocall states that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and this is my final notice. The automated voice was very broken up. The call almost sounded like a cell phone that had very bad service. It told me to call that number back. I hung up and didn't listen to anymore. It has called me twice today.

i missed a called.so i redialed,a asian lady answered i asked who she was she said irs..i laughed at her.then she started calling me vulger names.i ended up hanging up.it is some kinda call center cause u can hear others in background busilly talking in background.if it truely was irs she never identified herself..i called her bluff

Didn't listen to the whole message... but based on other calls that I receive on a daily basis, I'd say this was either a car warranty or credit scam
