I called the BMO number listed on my card and the person said that they do not have a number listed for BMO with that phone number. There is no reason why BMO would be calling he said as there would be notes from other departments on the account if need be.

first time answered coldnt understand them rambled on and said phone certain no. didnt. went into the bmo branch asked what was wrong with my account. they said nothing wrong/ told to not answer would put note on my file not to bother me unless they tell me what account etc. get calls every day.no chance to get a live person on phone.

Nobody here has a BMO account and they have no reason to call. The robot didn't even leave a full message and only the end of the robot call was playing as I picked up. This number keeps calling multiple times daily and with no one here having a BMO account it makes no sense for them to call at all. Scammer and really badly made robo call.

They called many times claiming they are from BMO. They said I have unpaid mortgage. I asked them which property they are talking about they provided an address which they found somewhere is related to me. However I don't have any mortgage on that property and confronted the caller and he got nervous and anger. This number should be investigated and punished.

Keep getting this caller call our office, like others here, we do not have a BMO account. I called BMO Customer Service and gave them this number, and they told me it wasn't them. The voice of the AI or Robocaller and the BMO auto answer sound identical though.

Odd because I called BMO and told them about the number and they said it was a legit number for their Accounts dept. I owed $28 on my MC. They transferred my call so not a scam.

They call you using automated system then a person from marketing pretends they don't know why their system called you. They then start to ask for personal info to investigate. I don't have any accounts or dealings with BMO and definitely these tactics are not honest. I call it SCAM!

I called my main BMO contact centre number and asked them if it was a scam, they said no and transferred me to account holder services ending in 2269, said it was a legit number. They let me know my last payment on my line of credit was short and I made arrangements to transfer as I hadn't realized it.

I never pick up unfamiliar numbers, so after this number called my office here in Vancouver and left recorded messages for 4 or 5 straight days, I contacted BMO through my account page to ask if it was legit. They told me it was a legitimate call, and that this department contacts people who are late on credit card payments or a loan payment. I called them to find out why they were calling my office and not my mobile, but I knew that I don't owe them any money, but I wanted to know why they were calling. She verified that my office number is the contact number for an employee here, but she couldn't tell me who. I said "Well then, you can't expect us to help you if you don't leave a name."...DUH.

Started getting daily calls with voicemail hang ups. Over time they escalated to 2 daily calls with part of an automated message. The part of the message that came through had a callback number, so eventually I called it to find out who was harassing me. The person who answered started asking me for personal info. I said first you tell me who you are. He could not tell me what products I had with them or why they were calling me. We tracked it down to my car loan and he said he would stop the calls for 10 days. For the next 10 days (until today), the calls actually got more frequent and at more obnoxious times.

They have been calling for months. Local bank says it is a scam, but they continue to call. Started out as a robocall. Moved up to live human operators asking for me by name. They appear to have access to my account information. They even managed to put a hold on my credit card. I'm tempted to switch banks if this doesn't stop.

Ça fait 5 mois qu'ils m'appellent à tous les jours. I don't even have an account with BMO. They keep calling so I blocked them but they are filling up my voicemails. I called them back today to let them know that I don't have an account and to stop calling - so hopefully they will!
