UHC's free service to set pregnant ladies up with a maternity nurse. This service is included with insurance, however, they call you when they see you having some OBGYN claims. In my case, they called a bit late in my pregnancy, so I didn't sign up.

SCAM! I contacted UHC to verify the legitimacy of the call. I have heard too many horror stories of the recorded responses used for fraud later so when it required a verbal 'yes' or 'no' to move forward I hung up. Asking for a representative should transfer you with most legitimate services, but it did nothing but repeat the prompt. UHC said they did not have any records of them trying to contact me for anything and not to respond to or provide/verify my information to the robo-caller. I was informed that UCH will not call to solicit their clients for services.

Called and left a message with a reference number to use. When I called back it was a person, seemed outsourced but not sure, wanting to verify my dob and address. I said I didn't feel I needed to give that info so he told me part of the info. He said it was for a maternity program with United Healthcare. I simply said, 'you do see my dob correct?' He chuckled and said women have children well into their 40's these days but would remove me from the call list.

I contacted UHC to confirm that the call was legitimate, which it is. It is a maternity support program they are offering pregnant members. I had originally opted out because the call seemed outsourced. I've encountered scams before and wanted to validate the call with UHC first.

Missed call and message from "United Helathcare" with a confirmation number to call back with but it seemed sketchy. Called the United Healthcare's main line to ask about it. It's a legitamate for me in particular they were offering a free pregnancy service where you can have an obgyn nurse who calls you periodically to check in on your pregnancy and that you can talk to if you have any questions.

So how the heck do you get them to stop because they call me daily. I answer, say not interested and hang up. They drove me nuts with calling constantly when I was pregnant with my first child. I never even requested that I be put on that program they just took it upon themselves to have a nurse contact me non stop without asking just because they see that I have prenatal care charges in my claims. It's so infuriating

I returned the call, typed the reference number and a recording asked “Is this ___” (my first name, I said yes and then it disconnected me.
