Talked to Chase not there number. They only use 800 not 855 or 888 which is number calling people. 2. They will not ask acct info because they are calling you.

You are incorrect -- I can verify this is the Chase fraud call-back number because I was on a call with a Chase rep and they called me (while I was on the line with them) from this number. Don't spread misinformation please.

Received a call on my VOIP phone from CHASE 18883731xxx An accented woman's voice asked if this was (my full name including middle initial)and said she was calling from Chase Fraud Department. Asked if I would confirm my last 4 numbers of my credit card. I hung up. Then both our other phone numbers were called. We did not answer. I checked my account - no messages from fraud and no questionable charges. I called Chase Customer Service 800-432-3117 (wait for all the prompts then press O) and was assured my account was fine and that was most definitely a phishing call. BEWARE. DO NOT ANSWER EVEN IF IT SAYS 'CHASE'.

I answered the call after they called me a couple times, it was a lady saying she was from Chase and wanted to confirm about my credit card application which I did apply for. She asked for some personal info which I said I was not comfortable with. I asked about a callback number and she questioned why I would trust a number she gave me if I didn’t trust giving her my info. I feel like a true Chase rep wouldn’t be sketch about giving me a customer service phone number???
