MasterCard or generic credit union credit card fraud prevention. The call is automated. They will call for unusual card activity on your credit union or bank card. This service is used across numerous banks and seemingly debit and credit cards. Usually some kind of information is required to confirm you are who you are, this may include your billing zip code, etc.

Voicemail left stating that the credit union needed to verify a transaction on my card ending in number xXxX. When I returned the call it was automated asking questions to verify myself such as name, dob.... I hung up at this point because I was unable to verify if this was a legit call! Upon checking my account there was no suspicious activity or unaccounted transactions. So, I'm not sure if this a scam or not.
