It went straight to my voicemail. It was a robocall claiming to be the "last attempt" at contacting me because of a federal offense and an unwillingness to appear in front of a "magistrate". Lots of "legal" talk. asked to press 1 to talk to federal agent... yeah sure

Have been receiving calls from a number that we decided was a spam call so didn't answer and they often came in after or before hours. Today they called while I was eating lunch and I decided to answer to try to get rid of them. Well I told the guy that we do not have any APPLE products and to remove our number from their system. He kept asking me questions and I kept telling him no one here had an APPLE product. I said to please remove our number and he said he couldn't! I asked why and he said because he liked talking to me!! Oh Boy, that got me mad. I told him I did not have time or patience for that kind of crap and hung up!! Ridiculous mess! We probably miss important calls because we hate to answer these scamming types of calls. Why can it not be stopped???

Called back and spoke to a support person for "Apple enterprise" who told me they have been having scammers spoof their number and to not answer and block it. Kinda nice to have someone actually warn me about scammers.

This happened to my boss. The man claimed to be with Apple and said $9,800 had been charged on his iTunes account and then he even gave him a name of who the “hacker” was and made him look it up. Then he said he’d have to go get a card at a store so my boss went to the store and then the thief told him to get a prepaid card for $500 and that then he was going to transfer it into his bank account that he needed his debt card number in order for this to work. Luckily my boss realized it was a scam and told him he’d call Apple back and the guy tried to give him the “Apple” number and my boss said no he’d get it himself and then the guy hung up. I’m just glad my boss realized it before he did anything stupid. Please remember that Apple will NEVER call you unless you request a service call.
