Scammer

Apple security saying my iCloud acct and computer was hacked. If He blocked the intruders I would have to throw all my devices in the trash. When I wouldn’t cooperate, the guy started to become angry.

What the hell do they want? (Robocall) reported by


I've gotten at least 4 calls from this number in the last couple days. When I answer, I get a recorded message telling me there's something wrong with the security on my apple device or account. They tell me to press 1 to speak to a rep, and they also leave a callback number (not the one they're calling me from). I try pressing 1, but instead of getting a person, the call just hangs up. I try calling the number they tell me in the message, and it's the (actual) AT&T tech support number. I try calling back the number that called me, and it's the actual Apple tech support number. I know this is some kind of scam and they're not calling about any actual issues with my apple account/device, but if they're trying to scam me, I don't understand how they're doing anything more than just annoying me.

It went straight to my voicemail. It was a robocall claiming to be the "last attempt" at contacting me because of a federal offense and an unwillingness to appear in front of a "magistrate". Lots of "legal" talk. asked to press 1 to talk to federal agent... yeah sure

Just another junk call. OK people...when you answer a number you do not know, that just tells the scammers it's a LIVE number AND someone is willing to answer their phone...which means...your gonna get more scam calls!
