According to other websites, this is some sort of scammy outfit claiming to be a debt collector. They have called my number repeatedly and never leave any kind of message. I don't owe anybody anything, and have outstanding credit, so this certainly DOES appear to be some kind of scam.

Called me, said I owed a debt to Verizon wireless, I do, but from like 6 years ago or so. Told me I could settle for half the amount at that moment and asked if I consented, I immediately said no. He repeated "no?" and I said I want to see a bill and I will give you my updated address and then he hung up on me. I never give money to any company over the phone especially a debt collection company unless I call directly. I honestly can't believe that they wouldn't want to send me a bill.
