Claimed to be a higher office in the social security department. (Scam call) reported by


I told them I had SS number saved in my phone and she said that this wasn't a local office, I said wow, neither is the one I have saved. I made her verify my name, I said wow you can do a Google search too. I said have a nice weekend with your scam.

This is a total scam call! The guy called me and said my number was suspended then asked me to verify address, name and bday. Then went on to tell me I was wanted for drug traficking and money laundering??!!! And told me I had a warrant issued! Then when I was persistanton asking him to repeat info, the line disconnected. What a shock!

To the best of my recollection the call went like this after I answered the phone - "Hello, this is the social security administration and your social security number has been suspended. Press 1 to speak to a representative...." I hung up. Received same cal, same number about 20 minutes later, again answered and hung up, then blocked the phone number from future calls.
