I answered and heard a recorded message stating it was AT&T and they had suspended my account. Then I hit 1 to reactivate account, and they asked for my billing zip code. That's when I hung up and logged into my AT&T account online and everything looks fine. I'm sure it was a scam.

I received a from a recording that said my account had been suspended. They asked me to enter my phone number, my AT&T pass code, and the last 4 digits of my SSN. I did not give the information. I hung up and called AT&T(611)and they said AT&T will NEVER call and ask for this information. This is a confirmed SCAM!

Answered and machine said my AT&T account is suspended and to press 1 to verify my ID. I didn't recognize # so didn't press 1. Called the number back from a landline phone and got a machine saying I was calling the AT&T call center. Stayed on the line and when an operator came on he immediately asked for my name and cell number. I told him my name but not my number, and asked what department I was speaking with. He said the AT&T Center for Customers with Disabilities. I hung up and called AT&T via *611 from my cell, they verified it is a fraud # and they are aware. Download the AT&T Call Protect app on your phone to auto-block this and other known fraud numbers!
