Nasty people using authoritative words to scare me. Words such as, searching,submit, legal,if you have any information , whereabouts. Ridiculous! As if I'm a convict on the lam!

1-866-224-1626 called my son with an automated recording saying there is a formal complaint against me please contact them about my whereabouts. I called them and the scary part is they knew my name by my phone number, my old address, old email addresse, where I worked when I lived at that address, the last 4 didgets of my social security number and the name of a bank I used back then and that I had close that account. They told me I had applied for a payday loan online and didn't pay it back and to avoid going to court I needed to pay $500.00 They told me dept collection was over and they couldn't give me the company's name, or date of the transaction that is trying to collect the debt. I have no collection on my credit report.

Annoyed with scammers

if you press them they have no information about their company no address no po box no tax id no website nothing i asked them for some very basic information and was hung up on 5 X I called back several times and was hung up on by the "supervisor" when i mentioned (FDCPA) they are ridiculous and not very intelligent about their own scam
