Incoming number on my caller ID indicated 402-337-5418. A female voice left a vague message: this is Mary Johnson I’m calling in reference to your federal student loan. I need to discuss your repayment options with the new changes that have taken effect recently. So if you could be sure to just give me a call back at 866-224-1313 and I’m going to go ahead and give you a reference number and if you could just have this handy that would make things easier. Woman's voice asking me to call her back about my federal student loans -- I have no student loans. Believable voice, sounds trustworthy, however the fact that I have no student loans means it's fake. She also never stated my name, which if this was legit, they would know my name.
