I recieved a letter stating they were bank of America and that my pre paid debit card account had a check that was sent to me but never cashed or deposited into the account, in order to have the check re issued and my address changed I needed to call this number and they basically asked for all my info my full social my card number which i dont have and my email address and cell phone number they said they were going to attempt to send the cell and email a code to verify something?? SOOOOO I gave them all this information and they said they couldnt verify that I had to go into a branch and bring two forms of I.D. The first time I asked what about my email and phone number couldnt be verified?? She said maybe the email and number arent the right ones that were attached to the account soooooo I tried again with my old email and same thing.... Started getting suspiscious so my Co worker googled some of the words used in the letter and it pulled up a police departments warning on FB with a photo of almost the exact letter I recieved... I asked the lady on the phone to prove who they were and she couldnt find any way to prove she was bank of america.. idk **** wierd... I still want that "check" though lmao still going to the bank in the morning lmao... SCAM

Someone used my SSN to file unemployment claims in Michigan and California. Those states use Bank of America cash cards. Bank of America noticed something suspicious and called me to verify.

This Bank of America keeps sending me emails saying that I have a pay cash card and I need to look at my statements I never sign up for this bank and I don't have a account with them at all.

Received a letter from Bank of America with this number listed: 866-213-4074. I initially thought it was a scam because I don't have Bank of America then realized it might be connected with child support. I think they do a lot of auto deposit cards like this.

TOTAL SCAM. Got a letter in the mail from "bank of America" with this phone number as the number to call regarding errors on my Bank of America credit card. The letter didn't read well and was dated 09/2013 on the bottom. And to boot, I've never once had an account with Bank of America.
