I didn't pick up because it was a number I didn't recognize with no named attached, it just said it was a Hartford, CT call. Called 3x rapid fire, left voicemails each time with a fax machine beeping noise for about a 1min duration. I then blocked the number.

I tried to have my Aetna Insurance card texted to me through the website then received a call from this number and found it was a FAX machine. After looking back at the site I realized that the option was to fax my card not text it. Hope this helps some of you.

We receive have received several calls through the day from this number and it beeps when we answer the phone. No one is ever on the line. When I tried to call the number back it, it picks up with a loud fax machine sound. Someone or something must be trying to fax us information, but they clearly have the wrong phone number. The company Name that comes up is "AETNA". I looked that name up on Google and found out that it is an out-of-business insurance company. I know it is out of business because when I tried to dial their local number it was out-of-service or a disconnected line. There is a corporate phone line and address. I looked up the 860-509-6980 it said the number was a CT number and then I found this information. Aetna Inc. 151 Farmington Avenue Hartford, CT 06156 USA 1-800-872-3862 If you feel like calling to complain directly to them, feel free. They may or may not answer.

Caller id shows "AETNA", upon answering, getting fax machine sound. Continued to call every 10 minutes. Then stopped for about an hour and then again was calling. This happened late at night when I was trying sleep. Wish there was a way to block such calls.
