once in a blue moon you hear someone mutter something at the very beginning and then its dead silence. I blocked this number. Now I only get the half ring. And it still calls 6 or more times a day. My phone holds 3000 numbers.. pretty soon it will be filled with blocked spammers.

Certain credit card companies have backers that you may not realize you are associated with. Sunce I did not know what card or acct#, I asked what co they were talking about & when they told me & then it made sense. I had missed a payment since I was delayed out of town I forgot to pay so they really are Citibank

Claimed to be Citibank and asks for full account # before you can speak with a person, just hang on the phone and don't punch in any number. They then asked for the account # again and my birthday. I told them I did not want to give out the info and he said the state requires them to asks these questions and said it was concerning a debt. I hung up and called the # printed on the back of my Citicard and asked if there was anything happening with my card or any unknown debt and they said I was fine and that they did not make any calls to me about my account. DO NOT GIVE I FO TO RHIS NUMBER.SCAM

Caller barely spoke English. I had a very hard time understanding what they were asking for. I asked them to stop calling me, but they continued to insist they would need to "verify" me. Wanted my name, my credit card number and other information which I did not provide. I repeatedly demanded that they stop calling, but they told me they would not do that until I gave them the information they wanted. TOTAL SCAM!
