called about fraudulent transactions on my card. Didn't answer the first time but called back. Had me confirm some bits of information and was connected to a live person who advised my card had been compromised and they were forwarding the information to my credit union. They texted, as well. Very glad I called them back.

This is a legitimate number. Somebody tried to make several fraudulent charges on my credit union debit card. This number called me. I did not answer, but checked here and called back. I had to enter my birth date, which made me nervous, but then I talked to a live agent who went over several transactions from today that were showing up when I checked my account on line. I would not have known about them if I had not called this number back. She locked my card and told me to call my credit union tomorrow. It's legit. Note--banks use third party vendors for this service. Your bank might not even know the number they call from.

After getting a text about fraud prevention from the legit fraud prevention services used by my credit union, this number called but it was not the legitimate security service. I think they are somehow sending texts from the legitimate number but then calling with a scam.
