They said that I was the family memebers contact info and they gave a case # and phone # to have family member call. I called and gave no info just to see if it was a scam but they refused me any info, I told them I would let her know they were trying to reach her. Ugh!!! Why do we have to deal with this type of crap.

Edwards and Associates scam call - I never answer unknown or restricted numbers. They left a voice message concerning a debt from an unrelated person (whom they assumed was a relative of mine). How they got my personal cell # and my name is disturbing. And you can tell that this is a scam call because the message has small pauses where they insert the names -- if this had been a real person, you would not experience those pauses at all. That's why one should never EVER answer a call from unknown or restricted numbers EVER. Ignore these types of call and let your family and friends know about the scam call. I keep track of scam calls on my cell phone by creating a new contact and calling it Spam 1, Spam 2, Scam 1. Scam 2, etc because they will call again inevitably and also so you can double check the numbers with others who may have been scammed.

Called me with a private number and left a message with this telephone number 855-414-4790 with a case number saying they have legal papers to give me Monday morning and I have to sign for them. First off I knew that it was a scam because they send certified mail first with any type of law suit. So I called back because I wanted to see just what info they had. I was transferred to Sabrina and asked for my case number and she asked me is my date of birth is correct she gave me It was correct but I said I'm not giving you any information until I get and address and phone number where I can reach out to to my attorney to contact them. She gave me an address in California and I said she was full of crap and I was going to report them. It's horrible because they were giving me an old address I lived at it just infuriating to think people would do this for money !!

Law firm claiming civil suit filed against relative (Scam call) reported by


Law firm (supposedly Edward & Associates) claiming to contact me because a civil law suit has been filed against a relative (who I know for a fact is deceased) whom they are trying to reach. In the voicemail message, the person (supposedly Amanda) leaves a telephone number to call ASAP. The caller id shows as 'unknown'. She even leaves a case number to reference. This is definitely a scam!

They said that they were filing a judgement for a debt back to 2003 and said that i can settle by paying 52% now. I asked about statue of limitations and they said that that doesn't effect this. Had case number, everything. Not right.

Said it was urgent that I call them back ASAP & reference an a case ID #. Message was somewhat garbled, so I’m not exactly sure what the outfit’s name was. Sounded somewhat like “Network Associates “ or something similar. I’m not buying it, especially after reading the previous posts. Process servers don’t call you on the phone, they just show up when you least expect it. Scam.

Called me regarding my husband using my maiden name. They did actually give a court case number that returned nothing in the court system. Would not serve legal documents, would not set up a meeting. Definitely a scam call.

Telling me I'm bri g sued for a delinquent bill. This is false. (Scam call) reported by


It was a scheme. I was put on hold, attorneys were supposedly notified. I was told to pay 1500 and no papers would be served. They called my family members to make it seem real.
