This outfit pretends to be a part of the Ford Motor Company calling to tell me my warranty will shortly expire and that this is my final notice before they terminate the warranty. When asked repeated questions about what part of Ford they are with and where they are located, they dodge the questions. These guys are fraudulent crooks.

Extended warranty scam. I have a unlisted number and I am on my State's do not call list. A Nissan dealer sold these scumbags my number. I also get loads of junk mail related to my 2011 Nissan. Nissan dropped my identity into a cesspool of spam, junk calls, and junk mail. Who is the bigger scumbag, the caller or Nissan?

On June 7, 2016 I received a call from 845-767-8098. Caller said he was from Continuous Car Care and wanted to sell me an extended warranty on my car. Caller had my name and type of vehicle I drove and knew my factory warranty was about to expire. He asked a bunch of question about my car, such as mileage, condition, any mechanical problems, etc. and then was glad to tell me I was eligible for a 100,000/5 yr. extended warranty from Continuous Car Care for only $870 a year for 5 yrs., a total of $4350. But with just a small down payment of only $495 I could start the plan now and make monthly payments for the rest. And since there was no inspection of my vehicle, I would be required to put a 1000 miles on my car in the next 30 days to protect them from any preexisting conditions. He said the plan was administered by United Car Care and that he could provide me with their web site as well as send me information via email. Then he wanted my credit card information. That was his spiel. I asked him where the company was located - he said San Diego, but that he was calling from Oregon. (Area code he called from was 845 - New York). When I asked for the web site info - he hung up. United Car Care is a vehicle service contract company located in Colorado, who has never heard of Continuous Car Care. Like so many of these extended vehicle warranty scams, they use the name of legitimate companies to draw people in. This is a SCAM.
