Very fishy (Scam call) reported by


I got a call from Rebecca Miller 4 times now, I called my bank and asked if this was a call from their system they told me that TD doesn’t offer any such thing. Neither of the 4 people I know that are with TD got the call either .... she called me 5 minutes ago and I just kept telling her “no” to her questions and she got cross and hung up on me saying she would call me back.

Recieved multiple phone calls In the last few days, offering credit card protection. I said I had already protection with td and she kept on with her speech regardless. I said I'd do my own research and call td on my own time. Wish I looked the number up befor answering so was prepared to call her out.

She told me that was calling on behalf of TD. Something about fraud protection for my credit card and to pay $19 a month. She asked for my email and I said "NO". While she was talking, I looked up the number and found this website. I then said to her....did you you know that your number is listed with 19 negative reviews and some of the reviews are listed as a scam. She said oh....we use a lot of different numbers and I can confirm that this is not a scam. I told her that I refuse to provide her with my email and I hung up

- Female caller, seems well rehearsed, I didnt even ask how her day was and she said "Thank you, its going well thanks for asking" - Its a CCard Protection service and they'll send you a free credit report to keep and they'll mail it and the agreement on my postal address - I said I already have a similar service and it was ignored - I was told once I receive the report, I have 6 weeks to cancel this protection - this is the worst type of subscription which hooks you in for a monthly charge of 19$ and apparently easy to cancel. Reliance also does this sort of stuff. - Asked me to spell my name (Red Flag 1). Asked me to confirm my postal address (Red Flag2) - The postal code they had was wrong and she forwarded me to a guy. (This is where I hung up) An esteemed bank like TD needs to stop this kind of stuff if it was indeed them.

They knew my name and postal code then asked for me to confirm my address and i asked "what do you have" and then I was transferred to someone else who had my address... I then hung up as it seems suspicious
